The 2023 Recap

The 2023 Recap

Acres Down South Fam -

Just like your distant relatives that you only see on holidays, minus that one weird cousin, we wanted to give you a little update about what we’ve been doing for the past twelve months. If you’ve followed us along since the start of the year - We salute you! You have probably witnessed some of our most exciting milestones so far. If you’re new here, let’s go over a little recap, shall we?

The beginning of 2023 started out as any other new year - very cold and busy! In January, we debuted one of our favorite collections to date - The “Blue Bloods”. This product drop included many college basketball team designs, like: North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, and Indiana. Within the first few weeks of the launch, you guys had nearly wiped our inventory clean! Now that is impressive.

That spring, we finally found a way to be able to successfully connect with members of our community - both online and in person. We devoted a team to create online content for our followers by focusing on ways to engage our audience. This was everything from creating our own “March Madness” bracket for followers (and Luke Combs!) to comment their votes on, to going out into the streets and interviewing strangers! Many of our videos went viral, which not only added a few more members to the ADS Family, but also gave us the inspiration that we needed to keep the year moving forward.

When the weather got warmer, we knew that it was time to release new polos to the public. Our next drop was one for our outdoorsmen, with our “Turkey Track”, “Retro Camo”, “Cantina”, “Famous Furlongs” and “Crawdaddy” designs. With the help of our friends and family, we hit the course - the golf course, we mean - to create content centered around this drop for a whole new niche of customers. How’s that for a day at the office?

In the summer, we wanted to craft up something for our lake/beach lovers… Thus the summer collection was born. The “Boats N Hoes”, “Shark Week”, “Screwdriver”, “Waverunner”, “Free Play” and “Offshore” covered just about any summer pastime that we could think of, and you guys seemed to love it!

Despite the new designs, and our growing customer count, we still needed something to take us to the next level. We received a TON of feedback about how to improve those previously mentioned polos; and what kind of family would we be if we didn’t listen? So, after extensive research and meetings, we finally found a brand new manufacturer to call our home. A new manufacturer meant that we could greatly improve our products’ fabric, buttons, sleeve labels, and overall feel. We’ve never been happier!

And you guessed it… A brand new manufacturer meant a brand new DROP of products - our biggest drop yet! It was all hands on deck as we stocked our warehouse full of college football themed polos, just in time for the season to begin. We created designs for many different teams, like: LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Auburn, South Carolina, Clemson, North Carolina, Georgia, Miami, West Virginia, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State. The new feel plus the new designs was like a match made in heaven. We had finally found what we had been missing.

Now, in December of 2023, we want to take some time to not only reflect back on everything we’ve done this year, but to also tell you what you can expect in the year ahead. Everything, and we mean EVERYTHING, that we’ve accomplished has been because of you. If it weren’t for you, our company never could have grown to where it is today. We cannot express how thankful we are to receive all of the kind emails, five-star reviews, and support that you have given us for the past twelve months. We hope that you will continue to follow us along into 2024, where you can expect brand new polo designs, collaborations with major companies, and even a wide variety of new products. Stay tuned for many HUGE announcements coming very soon!

Again, thank you for choosing to support our small business and becoming a part of our family.

We owe it all to you.

See you in 2024!
